Alex Paganelli cooks, shoots and films food. In 2015, he founded DEADHUNGRY as the creative hub to use food as his medium. Based in an East London studio kitchen, he has complete control over his process allowing him to define his style as something truly unique.
Inspired by London’s food scene with its myriad of international techniques and flavours, while also drawing upon his heritage and the landscape of his mountainous upbringing; exquisitely executed rough, rugged and raw dishes which reinterpret fine dining. It is deeply rooted in Alex's ethos to cook food he likes to eat himself. His dishes are predominantly vegan, using sourced ingredients that are low-impact and sustainable.
Since starting DeadHungry, Alex has moved on to hosting studio dinners for hungry friends; crafting menu concepts and dishes for restaurants; and photographing, filming & curating editorials for some of the coolest clients including Bottega Veneta, Palais of Tokyo, Supreme, Dazed, Harley Weir to name but a few.
